Personal Workspace

We create a personal workspace for every account that is created - this is yours and yours alone. You’ll also be able to utilize our catalog drives that are specific to you and your computer.

What is unique about Personal Workspaces?

Personal workspaces are there to allow you to work on your own or if you have your own personal projects that you prefer. You are not able to add users to your workspace (as it is personal), but you are able to invite users as Guests to specific files or folders that you would like them to have access (with the exception of no sharing with catalog drives).

If you know that you are going to be using Shade for personal use - then the personal workspace makes a lot of sense, however, if you know that you will be working with a team (or want to leave the option out there to work in a team some day) - it might make more sense to work with a team workspace that offers more options for sharing.
